Our Procedure
Either visit one of our two showrooms where you can browse at your leisure and then, if you like what you see, discuss your requirements over a freshly ground cup of coffee; or simply call us to arrange a home survey. We will visit your house at a time convenient to yourself to discuss your requirements in terms of door style, appliances, worktops and budget.
If you would like to visit one of the showrooms, please make a prior appointment if possible as this will ensure that we can dedicate the time required to go through all the details.
It is never too early to start planning a kitchen when it is part of building work. Your builders will require an electrical layout quite early on so the kitchen must be planned by this stage. We liaise with clients' builders to ensure a smooth installation which is beneficial to all, or our associate building company can carry out the work.
Until the kitchen is ordered, the final door choice is not key but you should consider the following:
Do you want a wood or colour?
Do you want a flat door or one with detail?
High gloss or matt?
We can show you the same design in any colour scheme you require, be it wood or lacquer or laminate.
Design process
Having taken your instructions, we will prepare a design based upon them. Our first design and estimate is provided for you free of charge as we believe it fair to give our clients the chance to see how we operate, how we design, and how our prices compare with others before any charges are incurred. Although we do not charge for initial designs, please appreciate this is a professional service and lack of cost does not reflect a lack of value, nor a lack of costs incurred by us! Further revisions will incur a one off charge of £200 which is credited against your order.
Order Process
Once the design is finalised, we will ask you for a deposit of 30%, less the £200 design fee (if applicable). The materials are then ordered and can take between six and ten weeks for delivery depending on the kitchen you have chosen. The delivery and installation date will be agreed with you at the time of order.
Delivery/Installation
We will deliver to you on the agreed day, often a Friday to allow fitting to start first thing Monday but entirely up to you. Stone and Corian worktops require a template and there is usually ten working days between template and installation of the worktops. Your installation will be overseen by our dedicated project manager to ensure a swift and professional conclusion to your project. The final balance of 10% is due only when any snagging is complete.
Building Work
If your project involves building work of any kind, our associate building company would be pleased to quote for this - meaning you will only deal with one organisation from beginning to end, giving you complete peace of mind and clear accountability.
